A user-friendly UX/UI design for a student enrollment system.
In this project, our team took the first steps toward creating software for a client. We held meetings to understand the client's needs and expectations, created a prototype in Figma, and presented it for feedback. After that, we created a UML diagram in StarUML to show how the system and data flow would work. After each step, we met with the client to present our progress and stay aligned with their needs. By the end, the client was very satisfied with our work. We also created project documentation in Google Docs explaining how the system would work and how to use it.
In this project, I learned how to work in a team and how important clear communication is among team members.

Detailed documentation
The first phase of the project involved a meeting with the team to prepare for the first interview with our client. After that meeting, we started working on a use case diagram. Following another client meeting and a few corrections, we started working on a data model that was used later in the development of the project.
After our data model was approved, we started working on the design in Figma. We had to visualize how the web application would look and how the database would interact with it. After a few weeks of work, we presented our prototypes. The client was more than happy with how our design turned out.
After our final meeting with the client, we carefully prepared a report with the team that described all the technical details of our project, making it easier for future developers to maintain and improve it if needed.

The biggest challenge I faced during this project was working in a team.
At first, I was worried that I would not be good enough for the team. After working together for a while, I realized we had the right balance of support and challenge. I improved quickly, kept up with the team, and we delivered everything that was asked of us and more.
Learning new software and getting comfortable with it.
One of my biggest challenges as a developer is creating a creative, user-friendly design because I usually prioritize functionality over visuals. Figma, the tool we used for this project, was an excellent eye-opener and helped me design pages quickly. The initial learning curve was steep, but once I got past it, the tool became easy to use. It is now a valuable addition to my toolkit.
